Langhans Galerie Praha
In the eight years of its existence, Langhans Gallery Prague, a non-profit organization in support of photography, mounted forty exhibitions exhibitions, (exhibitions 2003 – 11), mostly of works by non-Czechs, organized dozens of accompanying events, and hosted a number of important figures in contemporary photography and the arts.
Since June 2012, Langhans Gallery Prague has left spaces to People in Need (Člověk v tísni), an NGO. The People in Need Centre is a place for people who are interested in the state of the world today and in human rights to meet, talk, and find inspiration.
